Kindle Fire App Facebook Connector crashes when the user selects “Upload by Capturing”

Bug discovered on 12/28/11

Description:

There is an app available in the Kindle Fire store called “Facebook Connector”.

If the user launches this “Facebook Connector” application, they will arrive at a screen that has an “Upload by Capturing” button.

If the user selects this “Upload by Capturing” button, the application crashes.

Repro Steps:

 1.  On a Kindle Fire, down the "Facebook Connector" app

2.  On a Kindle Fire, launch the "Facebook Connector" app

3.  In the "Facebook Connector" app, select the "Upload by Capturing" option 

Result:  Selecting the “Upload by Capturing” option in the “Facebook Connector” app available for the Kindle Fire will crash the application.

Expected:  That the “Facebook Connector” app available for the Kindle Fire will not crash if a main menu option is selected.

Question:  Why have an “Upload by Capturing” option if the Kindle Fire lacks a camera at this point?

On a Kindle Fire, download and launch an application called "Facebook Connector".

Select an "Upload by Capturing" option that is visible as soon as the application loads.

After selecting the "Upload by Capturing" option, the application crashes.
